Adrenal Fatigue Recovery SoupLooking at the ingredients, this adrenal fatigue recovery soup may not seem like the most delicious soup ever. But once you try it, you’ll quickly be won over.

Not only is this soup delicious, it supports and restores you’re adrenal system. Did you know that something like 80% of adults suffer from adrenal fatigue at some point? Our body uses adrenaline for more than just extreme fight or flight responses we read in books. Mental and emotional stress can also tap into adrenaline to help us get through the day or a particularly stressful situation. The daily chaos of young children or a stressful job can deplete our adrenal glands unless we replenish our body through good nutrition.

We found this recipe a few years go from Dolores S. Downey who gave seminars on “Balancing body chemistry with nutrition.” It’s a great way to start feeling restored and energized. Modifications

Sometimes we add shredded chicken and rice noodles to make it a bit more filling.

Adrenal Fatigue Recovery Soup

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 1 hour

Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces green beans
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 zucchini, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup spring water
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients and simmer for one hour until vegetables are tender
